This playful series features Shin-chan dressed as various fruits, each with a unique expression and accessory. Whether you're a long-time fan or new to collecting, this figure offers a fresh take on a beloved character.

In this article, we'll answer common questions about the design details, materials, and display potential of this summer-themed collectible. You'll also find practical tips on how to showcase it alongside other figures and accessories.

What Makes the Summer Smash Design Stand Out?

The Summer Smash series turns Shin-chan into a walking fruit salad, with designs ranging from mangoes and cherries to apples and durian. Each 6 cm figure captures his signature cheeky grin, but the fruit costumes add a layer of whimsy that feels fresh and seasonal. The use of plastic and polyester gives the figures a sturdy yet lightweight feel, making them easy to handle and display.

One of the most charming aspects is the variety: with 14 regular designs plus one secret, there's plenty of room for surprise. The secret figure is a rare find that adds excitement for collectors who enjoy the thrill of blind boxes. The small scale makes them perfect for grouping on a desk, shelf, or even hanging from a bag.

• Look for the hidden secret figure for a rare addition to your collection.
• The 6 cm size is ideal for mixing with other mini figures without taking up too much space.

How to Display Your Summer Smash Figure

Displaying your Summer Smash figure is all about letting its playful personality shine. Because the figures are small, they work well in clusters—place several fruit-themed Shin-chans together to create a mini fruit market scene. A clear acrylic shelf or a glass cabinet can protect them from dust while keeping them visible.

If you prefer a more interactive display, use the included bead chain to hang the figure from a backpack, keychain, or even a doorknob. The 3M adhesive backing also allows you to stick it to smooth surfaces like a monitor or laptop lid, adding a pop of color to your workspace. Just make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying.

• Rotate your display seasonally to keep your collection feeling fresh.
• Use the adhesive backing sparingly—it's great for temporary placement but may leave residue on some surfaces.

Pairing with Other Shin-chan Collectibles

The Summer Smash series pairs beautifully with other Shin-chan items, like the Lenticular Badge blind bag. The badge's motion effect adds a dynamic element that contrasts nicely with the static figures. You can pin the badge to a display board or bag while the figures sit on a shelf, creating a cohesive yet varied showcase.

If you're a fan of plush figures, consider adding a Shin-chan plush to your display for a mix of textures. The hard plastic of the Summer Smash figures contrasts with the softness of plush, making your collection more visually interesting. Just be mindful of space—plush figures take up more room, so plan your layout accordingly.

• Create a dedicated Shin-chan corner with a mix of figures, badges, and plushies.
• Use small risers to add height variation and make each piece stand out.
